cindy s The newer model has more features than the 2013 The Kompressor Plus offers a roomier hood size to store more of your stuff, and an improved wrap around compression to give you extra load shrinking compression as well as the also the shoulder harness has more plush for extra comfort.

Shopper What are the approx. interior dimensions? Also, what exactly is the "Organizer"? Is it a traditional one, for pens/pencils?

SunnySports S Sorry, but Marmot doesn't give inside dimensions, the outside dimensions are 19" x 8.6" x 6.7"and the capacity of the pack is 1100 cu in / 18 liters. The organizer is not really for pens and pencils, it is more like some zipper pockets and I believe a key loop.
