Shopper Hi,
Does the hood roll up and get zipped into the collar, or does it flop around on the outside?
Thanks in advance!
JOHN B It does not zip into the collar.
KAY B The jacket dosen't get zipped up,it must be rolled up into the collar, giving it a rumpled effect, uncomfortable at the neck. The childrens verson if this jacket, that I purchased for my son is excellent with a zip collar.
Hence, being the reason for purchasing the Marmot Precip Jacket for men 2011 model.
BORIS K The hood does roll up into the collar and gets secured (clipped in place) by a Velcro strip. The same strip also serves the purpose of adjusting by how much the hood overhangs the forehead when deployed. This is a well-thought product.
RACHELLE P Hi,
It doesn't roll up, It just flops in the back. It's a pretty reliable jacket though.
G'luck
LYNN O No, the hood does not roll into the collar. It's not a really floppy hood though, it has more to it than the roll-in ones. This is my husband's favorite jacket, his second of the same style.
MARY JANE M No, the hood doesn't roll up and get zipped into the collar.
JESSE M It does roll up but there's just a small flap that wraps over the middle and velcros down. So, it's out of the way but not completely hidden like one with a zipper
JAN F The hood, once rolled up, is secured by a small flap that loops through an eye and is then closed by velcro. Once secured in this manner, the hood does not flop around. If it starts raining it is easy to undo the flap and release the hood without taking off the jacket.
BONNIE G The Collar Rolls up and there is a piece of velcro that keeps it in place.
Out of all the liight weight rain jackets on the market, this jacket from Marmot is the best. Enjoy.
TIM H I wouldn't know ! I paid for my jacket but it never arrived and I haven't heard from them since ! Sorry
MATTHEW G It rolls up and buttons under a flap.
TACHUN C Yes, you can roll it up and fix it. But not via a zip system.
JAYSON H The hood does roll up but it does not zip into the collar. I has a velcro strap on the hood to hold it down though.
