There is no waist band on the Rime jacket. It is an AWESOME jacket though. Have had it for two seasons now and its the best light weight full winter jacket I have owned.

Yes it has an elastic drawstring , it is an excellent coat I wear it all year even under a winter jacket, it works perfect for spring and fall climbing with the thumbholes.

I have the model without a hood. I have it in two colors. It does have a draw-cord to cinch the waist.

I own the jacket and it is well insulated. I believe there is no difference and it's just a notation.

Although I do not have it in front of me, I am 95% certain it does have drawstring hem that runs the length of the waist of the jacket with a plastic cinch on both ends. Really like the jacket, even more than my Patagonia Nanopuff. Definitely warmer and a little more substantial, but worth it on the cold days.

Yes it does. It is also a slim fit and is naturally snug. Pound for pound this is the best jacket I have ever owned. I'm not a super technical outdoor person but it's incredibly warm for its lack of bulk. it was great in just about any situation, including playing hockey on a pond this winter.
