Shopper is the hood big enough to fit over a helmet? would you be able to wear this under a shell?
MADELINE S i would say yes, I think it would fit over a helmet. I just tried mine on with my bike helmet and it works fine, although climbing helmets tend to be a bit bulkier. My shell would not fit over this jacket...it is very puffy, but if you have a large shell I don't see why not. I really love this jacket and I wear it all the time, but one thing that I would caution against is that it runs quite large. I had originally ordered a medium and I had to return it for a small. (and I'm 6' tall!) the small fits perfectly though...not too tight to layer underneath, but not too large to loose excess heat.
