What exactly is the difference between the black/black and black/S12 colors?

I bought S12.
MHW logo color of ordered Monkey Man should be two colors (white & yellow).
However, the logo of received Monkey Man is solid white.

I'm not exactly sure, other than one is black monkey phur with black trim, which is what I bought, versus other color monkey phur with black trim. Although the blue female version I bought my wife was blue on blue.
In any event, I love using it taking the dogs for a walk on a chilly morning and it worked fantastically as a mid layer on my recent climb of Kilimanjaro.

If you look at the options for XL, there is black/S12 and black/black. I am not referring to the shark black color.

You're talking about the shark, right? It's not dark black. It's more of a light black/gun metal finish. Or a very dark grey. Hope that helps.
