Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  The Sunnysports website says these poles have cork grips, but the picture looks like rubber grips. What kind of grips do these things really have? Thank you.
SUNGYUN W  rubber
RICHARD U  The grips on poles I purchased in 2011 are made of a very firm material that has a look and feel closer to some sort of plastic. I used the poles extensively on a hiking tour of New Zealand and the grips functioned reasonably well in all types of weather but I would prefer a grip with more "give". The metal tips are showing some wear. Otherwise the poles are a good value; sturdy, lightweight with reliable hand straps and locking mechanism.
LARRY L  The pair I received have rubber grips. We took them on a rim-rim-rim trip in the Grand Canyon....44 miles. One tip fell out at about 15 miles. The other fell out at about 25. Ended up just dead weight. Not good.
BEN M  They're really firm rubber. Not the most comfortable things but they've gotten me up many a trail.
