We bought 2 of these for our sons to use for school. We have had them for 2 1/2 years of heavy use & being drug around by our boys. They still look almost brand new. I have washed them several times & they look great.

I bought this for my 3 yr old Grandson to carry on hikes. This is a very cute pack but not very good for hiking. Doesn't have any exterior loops for attaching anything. No water pockets. No chest or waist straps. Was dissapointed with quality. Not up to Kelty's usual standards. We own an older Starfish Hydration Pack which my 5 yr old Grandaughter uses and this is much better quality anf better for hiking. Unfortunately they have changed quality of that pack too. We will keep the minnow and let him use for sleepovers but will have to get different pack for hiking.
