I purchased this pack for a AT hike over the Labor Day weekend in 2010. [...] SunnySports pricing was the best I could find on the net. They also had the (green) color I was looking for. Other websites wanted more money for choosing green! Not sure why since they are the exact same item? Anyway, it has plenty of room and plenty of pockets. I really like the front strap handle that makes it easy to get in and out of the trunk when transporting between trails. Like my other 2800 series Kelty pack, it's built to last. The H20 pockets are poorly designed. The bottles slip out on the trail or while climbing. That is the only complaint I have. H20 bladder is recommended. Been all over the west with it and it is the best 4,000 ci pack I have EVER owned. Gonna ski with it this winter, and will see how it performs. I only use the best gear, and this product excels. I was very surprised with the quality and workmanship.
