I sometimes go on extended packtrips, and felt this was a much handier system than using the frame along with other bags. I should have purchased together, but wanted to try to use bags I already own. Hindsight= Dumb move...... :o)

This item works great with the matching frame. Together they are a wonderful pair. I don't think that I would want to wear this pack by itself, but on the frame it is great. Can't beat the price to weight combo.

Pack bag worked great hauled both front quarters from a cow elk over 3 miles with no problems worked great.
