I bought this for my daughter who was studying Medical Technology and had several large heavy text books and manuals. She needed something made well and would hold up to heavy loads. She absolutely loves it! She has all her books in there and more! I am very pleased with the quality of High Sierra products and have bought bookbags previously for my kids while in school. Questions about this item:

Shopper  The dimensions are listed as 21 x 14 x 9. Can anyone tell me if these measurements are accurate for the external dimensions, including the wheels and handle? Anything over 22 x 14 x 9 will not work for my needs, and I'm afraid online measurements are usually a bit off...
ALEX S  So I pulled up the item and the first two measurements are correct maybe a extra half a inch bigger. However the 9 inch width all depends on how much you pack . If you are careful you can keep the pack in the 9 inch range.
Shopper  Are the wheels replaceable?
WENDY R  Hi. I don't know if the wheels are replaceable. My guess would be no. We use our 3 bags for travel, and check them on as luggage. So far, they're holding up great! No problems. I would totally recommend this product and brand. Have a great day. Wendy
LINDA T  I have no idea. I have had no problems with the wheels.
DON C  Most likely, they are not replaceable. I do not see there is a easy way to remove just the wheels. It might be possible to replace the whole assembly, assuming you can find the replacement, but the cost will be more than what you pay for the bag. Since the wheels used in this bag are pretty common, if you can remove the existing axes and replace them with bolts and nuts, then the wheels become replaceable.
AERAN H  I do not know since mine are working just fine. I haven't had the need to replace yet.
DALE S  Hello. I don't think the wheels are replaceable. They are also a bit "harder" than I'd like them to be. I wish they were more like a softer skate wheel. The harder wheels may last longer but they are noisier.
JUSTIN M  Looking at my bag, there is no obvious way to remove them. They have been fairly durable and after using it for well over a year, they show no signs of needing to be replaced.
JUDY P  Sorry, I don't know. But, I've had my bag for several years now and have used it extensively for airline travel and have had no problems with the wheels.

LINDA T  My guess (without actually putting it on a scale) would be between 8-12 lbs. I love this wheeled bookbag. Very roomy. Linda
DALE S  This is a very nice bag, especially if you commute a long distance or need a small piece of luggage. My only complaint is that the wheels are hard plastic, making them a little noisy. Otherwise, this is a very good buy.
DALE S  This rolling bookbag weigh about 6 and a half pounds.
JUDY P  Just used a old bathroom scale, but it registered between 5 and 6 pounds.
WENDY R  Hi. I just weighed it. It's 6 lbs 9.8 oz. We use ours as luggage for our boys when we go on trips. They hold a ton of clothes, and they're easy for the boys to roll along through the airport. They've been very durable, too. Hope that helps!
