Shopper Does this bag full collapse?
ANGELA P It will collapse flat, but it has two metal bars in the back to support the wheels and handle, so it won't fold or roll up.
It hasn't held up very well though. The zipper tab broke the first time I used it, and it has stmall rips along the bottom in less than two years of use. I bought a similar bag for $20 at a Greek street stall and it worked just as well and was more durable.
Deborah S I'm not sure I understand the question. The bag has an internal frame so that it will be rigid enough to work with the handles and wheels, but the frame is only along the bottom of the bag (bottom meaning the side opposite the main access zipper). The rest of the bag is regular duffel material. I wouldn't pack my grandmother's crystal in it, but when you stand it up on its wheels, it doesn't telescope down; only the handle extends and collapses.
JULIE L It sort of collapses. It is like a backpack so when empty it collapses down over the frame on the bottom. There are no rigid supports except on the bottom. The telescoping handle collapses inside the bag. I really liked this bag for my travel to India. It nicely balanced lightweight with capacity and was fairly sturdy. The airlines were able to bang it up a bit - I don't think it would survive a lot of heavy travel.
DANIEL A No, the wheel base on the bottom won't allow It to fully collapse.
