This has been a great pack for me. I have only had it for a month but use it everyday. I use it for school mostly, but will use it for weekend trips in the future. It holds my laptop, books, binders, and a set or workout clothes with room to spare. It seems to be built rugged and has many pockets for just about everything. The rain cover came in very handy one day after class when it was pouring rain, worked great (and it's bright yellow to help you be seen). I would buy this pack again..., definetly!!
This was a gift for my daugter who is a freshman in high school. It has lots of room for her books very easy to load and unload her books without messing the books up. She really has loved having this product. I would highly recommended it to anyone for school.

Yes the backpack is great and will buy another when the time comes! I think that I had a good experience with sunny sports, but can't exactly recall since its been so long that I bought the backpack. I bought the charcoal one, not sure if they have blue velvet.

I purchased a high sierra laptop backpack for my son back in 2008 when he started high school. The backpack is great, it still looks brand new. I suspect he will continue to use it in college this fall. We have had no problems with bag or the company. I was very happy with sunnysports.
