Trying to size this vest, what is the sizing exactly on the medium and large? Want to make sure it fits properly.

I bought my vest for birding trips to the tropics. It was recommended by another birder. I normally wear a woman's size 12. The medium was a good fit. It falls just below my hips.

If sizing for a women, go one size down than what you normally wear. If sizing for a men, go with the size normally worn.
