This is a great bowl/mug. It is large enough that you can fit a large portion and the lid is tight so you can save leftovers without worry of leakage. Much better than the Nalgene version which lid sometimes tightens in a way that makes it impossible to remove. The handle, which unfortunately can eventually break, is key when you are in a freezing tent and trying to eat with gloves on. The bowl itself is pretty bulletproof. The guy who gave this one star obviously didn't read the specs a...nd gave it a negative review when he made the mistake. Just because he found out another mug has measurment markings does not make this bowl a 1 star product. If you want a 32 oz bowl this one is industry standard.

Is it BPA free? Is there a chance for chemicals in the polycarbonate to "leak" into the liquid if hot?
