I have used this cook set several times and totally love it! If it is just me, you can leave out a bowel and put food in the pot as well. The bowels have a layer of neoprene that keep the hottest of foods easy to hold with bare hands. the sipper lid was great too! This is the most perfect cook set I have ever used! Clean up was easy too, and the bag doubles as a sink bag. You can cook with the lid on, I know it is plastic, but I torture tested this cook set and it held up with no problems!

It had everything I needed for backpacking with my son in a nice compact form. There is even room inside to store a compact stove (without the fuel canister). It worked very well for us.
