Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Can the legs or the screen house itself be staked to the ground in case of high wind?
DONALD F  It surprises me that the manufacturer has to ask me if the tent has pegs. Why? Of course it has pegs.
MARY Z  The screenhouse is staked down at the corners, and you would have to supply your own guylines to tie off near the top and stake it out. I've done that once and it worked, but like any open tent-like gadget, extremely high winds will take it down. I had it tied down in moderately strong winds and it was fine (25-30mph)
EDWARD M  Yes they can and the stakes are supplied with the screen house. Also the doors are able to be staked on one side so that the zipper can be more easily pulled up.
JAMES C  Stakes come with the screen house to hold the unit to the ground. Quite steady in strong wind.
DAVID S  Yes, the Eureka Hexagon Screen House can be staked to the ground. You can also purchase accessories for this screen house too. So far, I have been very happy with this product. Eureka makes the best products in the market!
vicki h  does it have a floor?
WESTON S  no it does not
CATHY C  No floor
J GREGORY Y  No it doesn't come with a floor. We bought a hexagonal footprint to put down and then we put rugs on top of the footprint.
Cathy G  what is a hexagonal footprint and where to i get one? thanks!
J GREGORY Y  I don't remember where we bought it, but I went online and there are places to get a hexagonal footprint. Just look for the size of your screen tent. We put the footprint down and put rugs on top of the footprint.
TINA K  No this screen house does not have a floor.
DAVID F  The screen house does not have a floor.
JAMES C  No, this screen house does not have a floor.
TRACY Y  no floor - you and a partner can pick it up and place it anywhere - over your picnic table, into the shade or sun as desired - my hubby isn't big on insects, but this allows him to be outside with little irritation
SANDRA D  No floor. The sides fold under and in about 6".
VANESSA R  No floor. Just walls and roof.
DONALD F  No. It sure does keep bugs out.
FLORIAN S  No floor.
vicki h  are side panels available to keep out rain?
DENNIS F  yes, even with a hefty wind
DAVID P  We spent the summer in Alaska and if it's not seriously blowing hard, you'll be minimally effected by the rain. The mesh is small enough that sitting or cooking in it will not be bothered by rain. It keeps the warmth in and minimal wind runs thru.
