What footprints did you choose for this tent?

I purchased the three person version. It packs small enough for trips on the motorcycle, yet is large enough for my wife and I with air mattress. The vestibules allow for some gear storage on the back and a good place for boots/riding gear in the front without taking up room inside the tent.

Honestly I just use an old shower curtain. It doesn't cover the entire tent bottom but enough to my satisfaction. Used the excess length as an entry mat of sorts. Nice roomy tent.

I used an old footprint (from another tent) but did not consider the vestibule which I would recommend.

I custom made one, but I think that Eureka has one as well.

I have two actually. They also fit under my 4 man Eureka Timberline tents. Both are canvas, one is a lightweight water resistant blue canvas, heavier (but only marginally) than a plastic one but stronger and it is light enough for backpacking. The other is a heavy water proofed canvas tarp that is for car camping. It is useful in places where there are stickers (like South Texas). This is a great tent, it IS light enough for backpacking and holds two people very nicely. I would just look for a light weight tarp to put underneath it unless you want to buy the Eureka "official one" realize that this tent won't set up with just the fly and a footprint like some of the more lightweight and expensive models do. If you were thinking along those lines. This tent I bought for climbing Guadalupe Peak which my old college roommate and I finally did last November. I had climbed it 3 years earlier in late October and the 50 MPH winds (and snow) almost blew down my old Timberline so I got a dome style tent. Of course the weather last fall ended up perfect but this tent is highly recommended. You'll be happy Eureka's last forever if you take care of them.

I am probably not much help here. The footprints were not purchased. We made our own from some heavy duty plastic and we already had some from previous tents to use as a template for size. Of course, we wanted to size it so as to not stick out from under the sides of the tent. It would have been even better had we included a little bit more length to include the areas in the vestibules. In the future, that is what I intend to do. I do not know the exact size we use, but I'm sure on this website or on Eureka's you can get the tent footprint dimensions and go from there. Good Luck

I did not purchase a custom footprint for this tent. I use a generic nylon "tarp" and fold the extra fabric under the tent.
I like the tent, does what it advertises. Please note that putting the aluminum support rod into the rainfly is a bit of a challenge at night, and especially in the rain! Many tents cause a similar frustration -- but it is the only negative thing I have to say about the tent.

We bought this tent and love it. For the footprint, we just cut a rectangular one to fit it.
