great product

By Powdered D.

Used first time on two night backpack trip. Set up in the dark on first night. Very easy to set up and protected well from the 32 degree cold and wind. Perfect space for two and their gear.

Just what I wanted!

By Scouting d.

I had purchased an older model of this tent for my son to use with Boy Scouts. I borrowed it a few times, and liked it enough to want to go out and get my own. I've used it in torrential rain, snow, and high winds, and never had a problem with it. Great little tent!

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  what is weight?
KAREN I  6 lbs 5 oz
JOHN C  Weight: 5 lbs. 6 oz if you count all the stakes, etc.
JOHN B  Not sure Boy Scouts used them for back packing
JEREMIAH M  5 pounds 11 OZ
NANCY B  Sorry, can't help you with your question. I bought these for our Boy Scout troop to go to a 200+ mile backpacking trip to the Philmont Scout Reservation in Utah. Neither me or my son attended, so we didn't use them and they are packed away in our trailer, under 3 feet of snow (we are in MN). Can't be too heavy as the boys carried everything they needed for 10 days on their backs.
DON S  I'd say it weighs about 5 lbs. It fits well into a NRS Bills Bag (dry bag), with lots of room for pad, clothes and other items. It is easy to set up, although I'd recommend doing it a few times at home first. Very pleased with this tent. I'm a pretty big guy, so this provides plenty of room for me and my stuff. Would be cramped with another person, although maybe not without any stuff.
ROB S  Is this product new? Also advertised with "bathtub design floor", is that truly the case or is there a seam in the floor close to one of the two doors? Thanks
Jessica S  This item is in new condition from the manufacturer. There is a seam on the floor that goes all the way around the tent.
Shopper  does the tent hav a vestibule ?
KENT G  Yes mine did. nice tent
MICHAEL O  The attachment to cover the tent makea a little room in the doorway. Its too small to sit in it but you can store things and its covered.
KAREN I  With the fly installed, there is a vestibule on either side - a good place to put your shoes and a few other things. As long as it doesn't rain so hard that water runs over the ground, they will stay dry under the fly. I love the tent! Keep in mind, though, that I'm not a backpacker, but a recreational 1 - 2 night camper.
STANTI S  Yes, it has two when the rain fly is on.
RON F  yes..two
PATRICIA C  When you put on the fly, there are two vestibules that you can store your gear in by either opening. They are small and work the best with a large tarp under the tent as the vestibule is only a covering with out a floor, so the tarp comes in handy. If you use it for one person, there is plenty of space inside to store quite a bit of gear. My son uses the tent for scouting and loves it!
CHARLES J  The fly covers both entrances with enough room to store a backpack on each side.
PHILLIP L  Yes. "The full coverage fly features two roomy vestibules that provide weatherproof storage and dry tent entry."
