I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bag. I ordered two of the girls' version (Lady Bug model) for 3-season tent camping in Idaho. I wanted bags for my toddler and pre-schooler that they could eventually also use for backpacking. Much to my surprise, this inexpensive bag is true to the 30 degree temp rating. My girls have been warm in temps down to freezing, with a good sleeping pad underneath the bag. These bags have solid construction and features typically found on more expensive adult bags (draft tubes, adjustable hood). They pack reasonably small and light for synthetic bags, comparable to similar but more expensive kids bags by Kelty or The North Face. The stuff sack the bags come with is kind of worthless, too large for backpacking and too small for storage (storing a bag tightly stuffed will ruin the insulation over time). For the price, I'm not complaining about having to get different compression and storage sacks. This bag is a well-made bargain.

This is a prefect sleeping bag for 10 & under. Great quality. Nice features, cinch cord around top, sturdy zipper & hidden pocket inside for flash light, snack etc. Ordered the grasshopper for my nephew & the matching Lady Bug for my niece. UNFORTUNATELY the pink Lady Bug bag came without it's original box. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but these were gifts. [...]
