I purchased this bag as a gift for my son who was going winter camping in Wisconsin. He is an Assistant Scout Leader. He texted me the second day and said that the bag kept him warm and that it was REALLY COLD. We usually prefer canvas shells because we tend to slide around with a nylon shell but my son said that wasn't too bad with this bag.

Were about to buy these, but lack of any reviews gave us pause. We searched the web and found a review of this exact product by self-described "experienced outdoor enthusiasts" that the temp. rating on this bag is FAR from the 10F stated. They reported using these bags indoors in 50-60F temp. and were COLD (and not just being whiny).
This review is intended to keep an inexperienced adventurer from placing a possibly life-threatening dependence on the questionable ability of this product to do what it claims.

Please purchase with caution. We read wonderful reviews about both the Kelty (warm-weather) and Coleman (cold-weather) bags we ended up purchasing.
