I have never had a complaint with any model of Darn Tough socks. I have become so pleased with them that I pretty much don't wear any other sock...

As a medical field provider, let me assure you that the anatomy of the female and male foot is slightly different (e.g. female foot has shorter toe bones, wider forefoot, shorter arch) I assume this applies to the umpteen other classifications of gender they have come up with so far. With those discrepancies in mind, these sox should still fit any human. Most sock companies don't make a gender specific sock. Now shoes...that's a different story.

Are these socks the same as the hike.trek full cushion?

As far as I can tell, the boot sock may be a bit taller than the hike/trek. The full cushion boot sock has the narrow lines separating the color blocks on the foot of the sock where the hike/trek cushion does not have these lines.
These colored lines on my boot socks wore out prematurely. I returned them to Darn Tough and they happily gave me the hike/trek cushion socks in exchange.
