WENDY J I bought both sizes for my 14 month-old grandson because I was unsure of the sizing. He has a larger head for his age, but the smaller ones were good with the elastic tightened. He will easily be able to use them until he is two. The Julbo II would probably be for a 2-4 yr. old. These were fantastic on our sunny Florida beaches. Our grandson was eager to keep them on (which had been a concern) because the sun's glare was eliminated. They are well-made and indestructible!
