STEPHANIE B I have to say I LOVE my hat! I feel like it is my portable umbrella, but very light weight and comfy. I have bought two. The first was a medium which felt a bit tight on my small head and leaves slight indentations, the second an XL which is adjustable and is my go-to sun hat (I live in San DIego). I recommend the larger since you can still cinch it up. I also added a toggle type of lace lock which keeps it very secure in wind. This item I bought at REI. Good luck!

HENRIK H My wife loves these hats, I got her two, and they do not look too bad either. Size L fits her perfectly, so the size chart seems correct.
SUE A I wear a size S. I have a relatively small head. I measured the circumference of my head, slightly above the ears, and it's 56cm (22 inches). Love this hat. I bought one each for my mom and sister, and they both love the wide brim. Very light and easy to pack flat in suitcase. Folds easily into tote bag when on the go, and unfolds without much hassle.
JUDY F I have a big head for a woman and always get a LARGE of any headgear. This fits with no problem. It has an adjustable gizmo in the back. It also folds rather nicely. I use it often and it has held up well.
MADELINE M Runs true to size. I used measurement guidelines on web site and hat fits perfectly. BTW. Great hat! I use it all the time outdoors.
