i got this product for m/c riding sizing a little loose but still do a good job of protecting my lower legs from cold and rain. keeps my rain gear off my exhaust pipes is also a plus

Great for winter trekking and climbing through deep snow. Sizing may seem large when you test it over regular boots/pants, but when you throw a pair of large mountaineering boots, base layer, fleece pant and shell under it, it fits nicely. If you have larger calf muscles I would recommend going with the XL. I'm 6'6" 230lb, size 12.5 US foot and the XL was great.

I have not used them enough to comment 100% on the durability of the straps, which seem to be the weakest part of the design and the largest amount of negative feedback. So far after several outings they only have a few nicks and scratches.
