Shopper i am size 0/2 for pants. will small still be big for me? thanks.
KATHARINE F Keep in mind you will be wearing your gaiters over pants, and tall thick wool/hiking socks, and perhaps high-top boots. Unless you are stick thin, I think the size small will be okay. I am a size 2/3 pants. They are perfect for me, but with the Velcro could probably be cinched a bit snugger.
And hiker's/ mtn. climbers legs usually aren't stick thin anyways--gotta build up those calves, LOL
ALANNA M Actually, it's not your pant size or leg size that matters. Fit is based on shoe size. You want a snug fit around your shoe to keep water from coming in at the base of your gaiters. The top part of the gaiter is adjustable, so most pant/leg sizes should be fine. In US women's sizes a small fits 5-7, medium is 7-9, large is 9-11. Hope that helps!
CHUN YUN C That depends on your SHOE size. I wear size 0/2 for pants (depending on manufactures) as well, I got size M. OR should have size chart on their website that you can reference to (sorry I am allowed to attached the link here).
CASEY G Because you can tighten at the top of the gaiter with the adjustable strap, you should be able to easily adjust the gaiters to fit around your leg. Pant sizing should not be a big issue for this reason. The important thing will be to make sure you get the correct size to fit your boot. The Outdoor Research description suggests a size Small for shoe sizes 5.5 - 8.5 in womens; size medium for shoe sizes 7.5-10.5; size large for women's shoe sizes 9.5-12.5.
Hope this helps!
ANITA C Gaiter fit is mostly affected by the size of your boot. You want the gaiter to fit close to the boot to keep out snow, etc. Even if you are petite, you should have no problem with it fitting your leg since you can cinch in the top of your gaiter as needed. Definitely buy the women's version, which is scaled down a bit.
JAMES S The fit on these is determined by your shoe size with a small being recommended for shoe sizes 5-7. You want to ensure that the flare at the bottom of the gaiter fits snugly over the tops of your boots. I would start with the small and if they aren't big enough you can exchange them for a medium or order both and return whichever one doesn't fit.
Hope this helps.
STANKA I I don't think so, the velcro adjustable strip on the front is wide enough to let you tighten as much as you want. Also, the top fastening is adjustable.
DUNCAN A Crocodile gaiters are based on shoe size not pant size. Double check the sizing of your shoes and order with confidence. Gaiters are true to size.
