Jim K does anyone have experience using the converta cot as a pool deck lounger?
GARY W We looked around for quite awhile till we settled on this cot - main use was for off-road camping on our atvs. So far they have held up really good. As far as your wondering if they would be good for a pool deck lounger my answer is that everytime I pack for camping I have to go to our pool deck to retrive them-- Hope this helps
SHANNON S I purchased the cot for use both in camping and for laying out in the sun. Thought it worked well in both situations. Really liked the adjustable feature. Made it so I only had to get one piece of furniture for multiple uses.
MARVIN L I use mine to sun bathe on my deck. I also occasionally sleep out side on it.
It would work well as a pool lounger, but if you sit down on it toward the front it will tip. Also it is light enough that the wind will blow it around.
But you can't beat it for the price.

I have used Coleman Adjustable Converta Cot around the pool and I like the way it can be adjusted. Just put towel down and your good to go.
DIANE M It does work well on our deck here in Colorado but it is a Coleman look. It is not " architectural Digest" material but it is comfortable for an afternoon nap especially with a yoga mat on top. Very compact and can be stored easily
LORRAIN B Purchased 6 in April to use as beds for ages 8-19 yrs. on a porch where a family reunion was to be held. They worked great as beds with just sleeping bags on top & allowed storage for backpacks, shoes, etc. underneath. 3 of them made it to the pool area to be used as pool loungers and they also worked super for that purpose. After the reunion, all 6 were put at the pool for service and the homeowners are quite pleased, especially since the 'beds' are no longer needed. They served both purposes very well and they dry quickly at the pool plus fold nicely. I'd say it's a GO for multi-usuage and at an affordable price. Fabric is substantial & a pleasant go-with-everything neutral color. A couple of the kids said that during the night as they turned or wiggled, that they noticed some noise with the foundation. Bothered by that statement, I tested one myself out of curiosity, and yes, there is slight noise in the hardware with movement ,but NOTHING that would keep one from sleeping soundly :) A Happy Granny for the investment!!
