BRYAN W We have 4 of these and store Black Diamond headlamps in them with no issue. The elastic does need to be tucked into the sides so it won't get caught in the zipper.

ROBERT J Works great for small headlamps-- the type that take 3 AAA batteries, contained behind the lamp itself. I use this case for a Black Diamond Spot -- just wrap the headband around the lamp and it fits perfectly. However, this case does not work for my Black Diamond Icon which has separate battery pack.

JOHN C Although the Stash is a nice concept and generally well executed, unfortunately the zipper is too weak in this application. I purchased several of these and the zipper on every unit failed. I still use mine but have to use rubberbands to keep them closed. YMMV.

BRET K You have to wrap the headband tightly around the headlamp...make sure it is centered as you put it into the case...then zip it up..
