RICHARD P These are really good products! I have Dry Mouth Syndrome and have to carry water everywhere. I only use Camel Back bottles and I bought one of these last year to help keep my water cold. I was surprised, they keep it cold all day and mainly there is no messy condensation to worry about. I'm thinking about buying another for a backup.

MARIE F I'm sure you've already answered this for yourself, but yes, the parka pictured in the middle (short and stout) works for a 1L nalgene. I also like the Hunersdorf 1L bottles - they are a softer plastic that seems to work better in extreme cold, and the tops are a bit more mitten friendly. Enjoy the cold water!

PAUL K Yes, #1 is correct. I ordered two OR #1 for my Nalgene 1L wide-mouths this spring and took them for a month on Denali, where they worked great. FYI it's a somewhat snug fit, so don't expect to be taking the bottle in & out of the parka a lot. This can get annoying because the mouth of the Nalgene doesn't really come up out very far when you want to drink from it. I ended up sliding the bottle up about 2 inches inside the parka when I wanted to drink, then pushing it back down to close the parka.

BRIAN E That sounds right to me. I have 32oz (same as a 1ltr) nalgene and a knock off brand that both fit my parka. By the way, the parka works really well for both keeping liquids cold or warm. It it a little hard to get a bottle out of the parka at times.

RAYMOND C #1 is what you need for the 1 liter widemouth Nalgene. That is what I have. It fits a little snug but it works.

RAYMOND G No, #3 will hold the: Klean Kanteen - 40 oz, CamelBak - 1 liter, Sigg - 1 liter, Bilt Mega Fresco. I have the camelbak 1liter, which fits inside the OR parka. The 48 oz. Nalgene Silo is too large for it.

ANN M I don't have a"Silo. But the wide mouth Silo is listed as 3.5 in x 11 in. The width is no problem, but my OR Bottle Parkas are at best a hair over 10.5 inches tall inside. You might be able to make the Silo fit by compressing the insulation...but that would defeat the purpose of the Bottle Parka. JM from Michigan

PETER R It might work with a #2. I use a #1 with a 32oz wide mouth and it's a good and snug fit. Here are the sizes: #1 = 4" diameter x 9 5/8" tall #2 = 3.75" diameter, 12.25" tall #3 = 4" diameter x 11.75" tall Good luck- Peter

JASON G I use the #3 for my 1 liter wide mouth Naglene bottles. You can also use a #2 for 1 liter wide mouth Nalgenes. My preference is for the #3 because it will also fit my 40 oz Klean Kanteen ( Typically if it is really cold, I leave the Klean Kanteen at home because they are metal). The other benefit to the #3 with Nalgene is that thre is an extra inch or two of depth that allows you put a hand warmer in it to keep it from freezing when it is really cold. Bottom line: #2 or #3 will fit 1 liter wide mounth Nalgene bottles. My preference is for the #3 although I guess it is a few ounces heavier than then the #2. Hope this helps -Jason
