Shopper Will this fit a Lodge Logic Cast iron 12 in dutch oven?
CAROL P No. I purchased them to try it, but had to return them as they did not fit.
WAYNE A I have a 12 inch and 10 inch dutch oven from GSI and bought this case for transporting and protecting them. The case is great quality, and since the 10 inch oven nests in the 12 inch, this case holds both nicely. The case is a good value and worth purchasing.
DAVID B I have not tried to make it fit into a Logic Cast. I would doubt it thought as a 12" will normally need to have "fit" room so fitting into another 12" would not work.
RANDY W I use the one I have for a 12 inch hard anodized Dutch oven and I put a 10 inch hard anodized Dutch oven inside the twelve, so I carry both and it works great. I have not tried a cast iron 12 in it.
ROBERT T Hi Shopper! I just removed my aluminum Dutch oven from the GSI Outdoors Dutch Oven Case, and loaded in my standard Lodge 12" diameter cast iron Dutch oven with the three pedestal legs. The Lodge oven is about 1/4" larger diameter, but it still fit nicely inside, and the zipper closed all around. The cast iron oven weighs many times more than the aluminum oven, so I would be very careful when carrying it by the carry strap. (I did not experiment with that maneuver.) But if you just want a nice padded case for storing your Lodge dutch oven(s), then YES, the GSI Outdoors Dutch Oven Case will do the job nicely.
Best regards,
Robert Tryon
