Shopper Does the footprint only cover the bottom of the tent or does it also cover the vestibule area?
JIMMIE R The footprint covers the entire vestibule area. Since the main body of the tent is made up of two parts (not counting poles, etc): the vestibule and the internal tent; we set up the vestibule to get out of the weather, install the footprint, then install the internal tent/sleeping area. Once everything is square, then we stake down. I'm on my second work assignment in Norway and this tent is perfect for the windy and rainy conditions here and as far as I'm concerned, the footprint is a "must have". The tent is a bit heavy, and when you add the footprint, it adds a bit more weight but I think overall this is a great tent, but probably not for those long hiking trips.
JONATHAN N Yes it covers the entire tunnel system. Awesome tent!
DMYTRO G it does cover vestibule area
