At home we sleep on a queen size, but I've found that when it comes to air mattresses the last 3-5 inches on the side aren't useable - you'll just roll off. Plus, we have young kids that like to wake up early in the tent and crawl into bed with us - and the King size allows us to accommodate for the precious additional 20-30 minutes of sleep.

I'm sorry but I literally laughed out loud at this question and completely understand why you asked it BUT the 4D refers to the pump. It takes 4 (four) D batteries :)

The floor size on the Eureka Apex 3XT is 7' 6" x 6' 6" or in inches 90" x 78", so all the sizes should fit, however the King and queen sizes will not leave you so much other floor space. Stay safe and have fun out there! Neal
