Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Samantha G  Could you put this in any type of backpack?
JAMES G  Yes.
ETANA K  Most types I would think. It could take some finagling and it doesn't include the straps but it is very versatile, and i absolutely Love how cold the water stays for a very long time!
CURTIS R  yes, you could.
ROBERT D  Yes I do that most of the time and it works well. You don't need to clip it to the outside of the pack.
MIKE L  I have carried it in an overnight backpack, and in two different daypacks. So long as your pack meets the dimensions and can hold the weight of a filled bottle it should be no problem.
SCOTT M  I bought this because it's insolated. It fit’s fine in all my camelbak day packs
PEGGY H  Yes! I have a Jansport backpack that has 2 large pockets and some smaller ones, I just drop it in one of the larger pockets and I am ready to go!
RONALD E  Yes, the tube would have to routed out and maybe some Velcro to keep everything where you want it. It could be mounted on the outside as it has four mounting devices on it already
CRISTINA B  Yes. It works best if there is some kind of pocket inside the pack. Most packs have them. Most packs also have the hole for the tube as well.
DANIEL H  You *could* (I have with your typical small book bag backpack), but then you wouldn't necessarily have a specific pocket for it and you may have to feed the tube through the main opening of the backpack. This just makes it awkward and more difficult to put other things in your backpack, and the tube may not be long enough to make it easy to use. Also, if there isn't a clip or something to hold the tube onto your backpack strap, it makes it difficult to drink from.
theresa F  Does this bladder fit the camelbak blowfish?
ADAM W  That bladder does not fit the camelbak blowfish at all
ROBERT D  The Blowfish is designed for a 70 oz reservoir so this one is too big. You might be able to fit it in the pack but not be able to fill it full and the insulated sleeve will take up a little of the space as well. I would recommend going with a 70 oz reservoir to get the most out of the bladder to your pack size. If you must have the insulation then get this one (because it works well) but you will sacrifice water capacity for the insulation with the Blowfish pack.
TIM M  I have an unbottle and also own a Blowfish. Unfortunately I'm away from home where the Blowfish is located, so can't actually try the unbottle in it. But, based on the unbottle shape and dimensions, I think it would fit in the Blowfish with no problem.
MIKE B  I don't have the blowfish but since it has a 70oz bladder it may not fit. The unbottle is more designed for a hiking pack that has a designated pocket for a bladder.
Trent L  What are the dimensions of the 100 oz. Unbottle, particularly the length?
ALEX K  It's 17 inches in length and about 8.5 width unfilled. It's really great if you can fit it in your pack, really durable. Also I'd recommend using a katadyn water filter because the filter comes with an attachment that you can plug right into the camelbak and you don't have to open the top to fill it, which allows you to just throw the pack on the ground while you pump. My friend used his sterile pen thing and had to clean the water in a water bottle then poor it into his pack, which is bad too if you don't had clear water. I'm very happy with buy
