I have used camelbak packs for 20 years and they always improve when I decide to get a new one. I have three boys and the first pack I bought is still being used. This pack is outstanding. I love how it fits and the nv version is the way to go!

I've had this bag for a few weeks now and have taken it on a couple of 5 mile hikes and a couple of shorter ones. I got it for the water and love it for that and all the great pockets and sturdy construction. The only thing that I don't love is the waist strap which is unsubstantial to say the least and I have trouble reaching the pockets on it, so I have the straps folded up and out of the way. The back support (NV) pads are brilliant. The distribute the weight nicely and keep the pack o...ff my back so I'm not sweating as much on my back. Overall, a great backpack!

Which backpack has the biggest main compartment of the camelbak line? Used to have old 2009 cloud walker, looking for something with a little more room.

I didn't have the 2009 cloud walker. But this MULE NV 100 is fantastic. I could pack couple shorts, shirts, underwears, Sony camera, Sony videocam , a helmet, and more. Another goodie is that it has rain cover attached in the bottom, I was trapped in the rain couple times, so the cover is very handy.
