Camelbak MULE 100 oz. Hydration Pack, Previous Season

Excellent bag!

I ordered this bag a month ago to use on day hikes and while mountain biking. Up to now, I had been relying on waterbottles and a North Face Pandora backpack (which is awesome in it's own right), but was irritated that every time I wanted H20, it was a big production. I've never owned a Camelbak and was worried about how spendy it was, but now I think it's worth every dime. This bag fits great, and has sufficient space for a light rainjacket or sweater, a hat, a multitool, my cell phone, card...s, keys, etc. The storage space is perfect; I would have been unhappy with the next size down, though, as this one manages to just fit everything I need. Oh, and it should be mentioned: I'm a 5'6 female with a big bust, and often have trouble finding backpacks that have a comfortable chest strap, however, this one is perfect; it fits really well and doesn't pinch or pull. A+ Camelbak!

Very Comfortable and Great Fast Pack

I use the Camelbak Mule for Fast Packing-Day Hikes. It holds just enough water for me, and a little extra for my Dog's-if they need it. I tried the "Women's specific" version of the Mule, and found it very uncomfortable-I have that problem with alot of women specific gear. Maybe because I'm 5'8" with broad shoulders, and wear women's size 11 shoes(which never fit right-so I wear men's 9.5-in trail running shoes). Of course I fit into women's clothing, but gear is a whole different story. If y...ou are not petite or small boned-I think the MULE is a better choice than the women's version-just my opinion.
