I am a under 5ft lady and it was extremely hard to find a back pack that fit my frame well. This is the only one I found that worked for me.

This pack is perfect for day hikes/traveling through the airport. I used this pack recently on a 12 mile hike at Glacier National Park - it held the perfect amount of water, snacks, first aid items, etc. and I barely felt it on my back. Very cute style too! Why does it say in the specs that it is not Ski/Snow Board Compatible?

Probably because the straps on the pack won't hold skis, they are just for tightening the pack. There is also a pocket on the outside but there is no opening in the bottom. It's a great pack for day trips.

It might also be because the tube isn't insulated. I am adding my own aftermarket tube insulator.

I saw the other LUXE models had helmet clips. Does this one have them?

I am not exactly sure what you mean by helmet clips. This CamelBak is designed to store a helmet in the front part between the main pack and the extra part in front that has clips.
