DAWN G We needed a small bag that could accomodate our kids needs for hydration while out hiking and on "adventures". The bag we needed also had to have a pocket for their logbooks, snack and assundries. The kids clip their survival whistle and a compass and "working gloves" to the outside straps. It works as great as we anticipated.
