Questions about this item:

Shopper  Does each order for Black Diamond carbide tips include (two) 2 tips?
cindy s  Yes, this item is sold as a pair.
John K  I have a hiking pole that is threaded Metric M6 1.0 x 6mm. Can you tell me if the threads on these would fit those threads?
DIETER D  The delivery was very quick, the Carbide bits work very well and I am using the poles with the new tips for hiking in Australia.
chris d  What trekking poles to you recommend for a Street and Park level hiker in an urban environment ? And which ones comes with replaceable Carbon tips...that seems to be the challenge..My poles are from Slovakia..they are excellent..but the carbon gets caught in sidewalk cracks etc..gets loose...and I cannot replace...help
DIETER D  Hi Chris, I use Black - Diamond Z-Poles. The Carbon tips are well suited for hiking in rocky terrain, the rubber tips are suited for even footing and light hiking. Regards Dieter
TOSHEN G  Hi Chris, I use the Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork Poles and think they're great, but I think you'll find any of their poles well made and versatile. You can replace the tips, if needed. Unless there's ice or snow, though, I'd also recommend their tip protectors, which make the poles much nicer to use on sidewalks and other hard-packed surfaces, and you won't experience the tips getting caught in sidewalk cracks.
chris d  thanks for the quick reply...I am new to this. I bought my first set of poles in Slovakia...But I quickly burned through the rubber exposing the Carbon tip. Then the tip got caught in a sidewalk crack..and I can't replace it..so tell me again..what I should do..I use the poles for City walking and off road stuff..like in a park...I am hooked on this idea. AND can you recommend a good shoe..do you know this company "reshod"...they customize shoes..just wondering...c
JOSEPH C  Hello, I recommend buying Black Diamond Trail Ergo Cork pair. Then buy the Black diamond Trekking pole tip protectors (Rubber) . These will slip over the carbide tips that come with the poles. These tips are also wide enough not to get caught in sidewalk cracks. Or, maybe you can find rubber tips for the bottom of your poles you own first, and save some money Jc
ALEX S  I am not sure which poles you have to make a recommendation. Let me know what brand and model you have.
