Shopper Is it aluminium or carbon?
RAGHAVENDRA K The carbon are about 30 grams lighter. I have the aluminum poles and my hiking buddy has carbon polls. Although 30 grams doesn't sound much, you can feel the difference. In terms of stability and usability, they are same. So, if you are a "ultralight" backpacker and can afford the additional cost, carbons are the way to go. I am happy with aluminum polls, just sayin' :-)
