Roger F You: I have these gloves and use them primarily for running and hiking in cool weather. Cold tolerance is kind of an individual thing, but being a runner with a runner's "body type" I'm sensitive to cold. That being said, I can pretty comfortably wear these gloves down into the 30s (especially if I'm active). The ones I presently have are a size larger than my previous ones. I've always found that if I want my hands to be as warm as possible, I size up a bit with my gloves to create more air space around my fingers. I almost always wear a size L in gloves, but my new Stormweights are XL and they are not floppy and fit better and are warmer than my old Ls.
Alan G I am 65 with thin blood. I get cold easily. I'm looking for the warmest gloves I can find. I live in Chicago and walk my dog year round. If you know of a warmer pair of gloves please advise. Thanks and have a happy and healthy holiday.
