I got this because I was tired of my chalk bag puffing out chalk all over the place every time I shifted things around or tried to pack up. This keeps my chalk contained perfectly! I do have to make sure to release as much as air as possible before rolling down, as it seems to be airtight and will therefore puff up and take up extra room without letting the air out. My chalk bag is 6" across plus my brush, and it's the perfect size-not too much extra room, but not a struggle to get my chalk b...ag back in or out.
