I will use this as my tent lantern as well as my backpacking lantern for over night hikes. Love the compact design and for such a small lantern the Apollo really kicks out some light. This is a "must" have.

The lantern is a little larger than expected. The light is nice and soft, could be a little brighter on its maximum setting. I purchased the rechargable battery pack after seeing the flimsy AA battery holder. The pack is nice in that there is integrated wiring to allow charging without removing the batteries.
