BETTY C The Atlas Women's 2-Part Poles work great for me. I am 5'1" and love that they are adjustable in length. I also like the smaller hand grips that the women's poles have than the men's. I use them for snowshoeing but they should work equally well for skiing.

KYRA J C I would not recommend these for skiing. They have a tendency to slip, even when they are locked tight. They are great for snowshoeing, but not for skiing. Scott makes good poles for skiing.

KALLIE M 30 in unlocked 36 in min locked setting 51 in max locked setting The poles have 105 cm min and 130 cm max printed on them for adjustment marks. However my measurements were taken below the min mark and just slightly above the max mark. They are very nice poles and I've been using them since 2010 for snowshoeing.

STEVEN L The maximum over all length from tip to top of handle is 52" and the minimum length is 30". I used these for snow shoeing and hiking.

ERICA K Atlas Electra poles will extend from 105 - 130 cm ( 41.3 - 51.0 inches, or 3.4 - 4.25 ft). You can set the poles in 5 cm increments. I am almost 5'9" and generally use the 115 cm setting when hiking a normal incline. I also bought a pair of Black Diamond hiking poles and prefer them over the Atlas brand. The Black Diamond poles are much easier to adjust. If you can afford to spend a bit more, I would recommend them over the Atlas brand. It seems like a small thing, but when you are out on the trail and have your hands in gloves, you really don't want to have to take them off to adjust the settings. With the Atlas brand, you adjust the poles by twisting them and for me, it was more difficult to lock / unlock them.
