Set this tent up in 15 mins. the first time. I've owned Sierra Designs tents all my life and have had a 2 person backpack SD tent for over 20 years and still looks new after 100 plus trips. If you are looking for quality and waterproof, SD is your tent. Love the extra room in the Wu Hu 4+2.
SD got it right with this one. 5 stars all around.

I'm a backpacker normally, which means I go with the bare minimum to save weight and space. But when I car camp, I want luxury (most importantly, space)! I absolutely LOVE this tent! The tent is one unit that allows you to have 2 separate sections if you use the middle divider. The front half (the side with the huge, grey vestibule) fits a double-high queen bed perfectly. And by perfectly, I mean there's no room on the floor for anything else. You'll be jumping straight in from the vestibule onto the bed. On the 2nd trip out, my friend used a backpackers blow-up sleeping pad (about the width and length of a sleeping bag) and had LOADS of space for other stuff. In the back room, the area is larger, as a double-high queen matress fit with about 1.5 feet to spare on 2 sides of the bed (with the head part pushed up against the wall of the tent, and one side pushed up against the closed divider between both halves of the tent. I had my 75 lb lab and boxer comfortably sprawled out around the bed with lots of room to spare. The vestibule is a good bit smaller on this side, but is still a good size for anything you dont want out directly in the rain. The ONLY thing I didn't care for was that the divider opens from the floor on one side and does the "half moon unzip" to the opposite side, so you either have it all the way opened or closed - there's no in between. It would be awesome if it had 2 zips from the top so that you could unzip both halfway down (waist height) to allow air flow without totally exposing both sides of the tent to each other. Setup takes a minute to begin with since the instructions aren't completely thorough, but common sense takes over and it all snaps together with a breeze. Just be sure that when you're putting the vertical side poles on that you put them between the tent and the horizontal poles. The directions don't indicate the proper setup (kind of leaves it up to you to figure out from a black and white diagram). But if you don't do it properly (and they're put on the outside of the 3 vertical poles) a strong wind will pop the poles right off the tent if they're not on there correctly.

We've been tenting for --- well, a very long time. Lately, we've been looking for the "perfect" tent for the two of us when we are boating & fishing rather than kayaking/camping. We tried a couple of other tents (a Cxxxxxn and a Exxxxa) and really were not happy with the characteristics of either. We finally selected Wu Hu 4+2. The things we really like about it are: it has been completely dry even though it rained 4 days the first time out with it; the inner "door" is zippered and provides a complete separation between the two rooms when closed (this was handy when the temperature dipped --- the closed door cuts the occupied portion nearly in half keeping the occupants warmer); set-up is quick and easy (even in a light rain; the fly is great (as is the optional footprint) and keeps the tent dry; ventilation is adequate, particularly if the vestibule zippers and center partition are open a bit; it is roomy (we use the smaller room as a very roomy entry and gear storage, and put a queen air mattress in the larger room as sleeping quarters; the smaller room is large enough for two others if needed; we can stand up straight almost anywhere near the centerline of the tent.

Only a few things we have noted so far that could possibly be better: condensate does form when its cold- always a trade-off between ventilation and warmth; a way to fasten the fly (vestibule) doors back (help to dry condensate in the morning; a few more loops, pockets shelves for storage off the floor; the biggest thing would be a way to open the vestibule door when going in or out without water running off the fly and into the tent--the design has the entries extending out under the vestibule door (you have to use a little care to pull/push the fly door outward so it doesn't fall in and drip water in the tent). All relatively minor items in my mind.

Summary: it really is better than 4 stars, just short of perfect. Love having a separate room that can be used as a screened entry, and a waterproof and sturdy tent.
