There are pros and cons to double- and single-wall tents and the Velox 1 incorporates the best of both. At three pounds, it weighs little more than a full-featured bivy, but delivers the comfort of a full-blown tent. Single-wall construction saves weight, but having a double-wall vestibule allows the use of more mesh, keeping condensation at bay. Three pounds for a solo shelter get moving!
