Tent is plenty of room for two people. Sometimes I'll cram our packs inside the tent if its raining. But if the weather is fair I will put the packs in the spacious vestible. I've camped all over the north east from the Adirondacks to the smokey mountains in snow, rain and hot heat and the tent was great. Once in the smokey mountains we got a huge rain storm and we watched the rain flow underneath the tent floor and never did we get wet. I was sold on it then without a doubt. I bought my meteor light in 1997 and looking to replace it with the same thing. They made a few modified it aliitle to make it even better so im excited to get a newer one. Ya people say its on the heavy side. It is I won't disagree but you gotta remember its a good sized tent not one of those coffin tents that you can't roll over in. And if your pairing equipment share the weight and its fine. Its one of my best pieces of equipment...
