I am a return customer for Sierra. I backpack, car camp and music festival ethuists.First, I am a return customer for Sierra. I backpack car camp and music festival enthusiasts. I was a little nervous about the pole configuration and technology, but it turns out very easy to set up and sturdy. Rule of thumb, I always do a back yard set up night and day. As with my previous Sierra tent the Vestibule = dry. Equally, the floor and lower seams of the tent is factory taped or sealed. I stayed dry in 3 day steady rain with down pours. I had NOT used any seam sealant. Less than a teaspoon of water dripped into both the inner door zipper seams and on to the floor over night. Seems to have accumulated due to the seam where a Velcro strip holds vestibule to tent poles. I will use some seam sealer but the fact is that's not getting wet in a 3 day steady rain and down pour in the southeast USA. At one point, a puddle developed under tent, no leaks. Ventilation is great. It is very humid in the southeast USA with the right condition you could cut the air with a knife minimum condensation. Bottom line, Sierra makes excellent products. I highly recommend Sierra Designs.
