I recently purchased this tent for canoe camping and backpacking. I am replacing my 2 man tent which weighs 6 pounds. I took this tent on a 3 day 2 night trip down the river. It was easy to set up, sturdy, love the size for a one man tent. My friends are all thinking about getting one as well. The only issue I had was condensation. Although it was very foggy and there was lot of moisture near the river. I feel that once I use it more I will figure out ways of venting it better. I did leave the fly closed off all night due to rain concerns. I would definitely recommend this tent and company to a friend.

Took this pup camping for a 2 nt stay. It down poured the 2nd night. I didn't have a ground sheet and this bad boy stayed dry through it all. Came home hosed it off and it's like new again. If you're a minimalist its perfect. I will warn you though there is not a tremendous amount of room. I'm 5'6 and only had room for my pack. So you may need something larger with more storage if you're bringing a lot or plan on camping with your dog.
