Comments about North Face The North Face Moraine 33 Tent:
The Moraine 33 I own is the BX version I got as a prototype from North Face. As a 3 season tent it's almost perfect, it's easy enough to put up once you get the hang of the pole order and ventilation is amazing with almost no condensation. It has survived heavy downpours with only a minor leak near the door seam of the main vestible.
One con of this tent is that it's totally asymetric making it a pain to put up in the dark or high wind. It also doesn't handle 3 season wind very well unless pitched near perfectly. Try to find the most sheltered sites possible. The footprint is also useful if camping on rough groung and scrub as the groundsheet is extremely thin and there will be moisture under your sleeping mat in the mornings regardless, uless footprint is used.
All in all an extremely good tent. I have used it on Skiddaw in the Lake District in late November with gusty wind and hail and was very secure.
