The free standing Spruce Peak uses an all steel frame to create an amazing amount of living space combined with a usable screen room. The 12x12 sleeping area offers 8 huge windows with large mesh roof vents for ventilation and views. There are 2 large offset doors to make getting in and out of the tent easy. The 72 square foot screen room has plenty of space for a table and chairs and the offset door makes getting into the tent easy even with people relaxing in the screen room. There are panels that can be zipped up to keep rain from coming into the screen room which allows the use of this room even when it is raining. A zippered duffle bag style storage bag, pole bag, stake bag, tent stakes and extra guy lines are all included.

Comments about GigaTent GigaTent Spruce Peak 2-Room Family Tent:

My wife and I camp several times a year, mostly at state parks. We ordered this tent because of the screen room attached and the head room. Add says the head room is 8 ft. actually its more like 6 ft. Setting up first time one of the side pole hubs broke. Poor plastic material. We taped the hub and finished setting up. I failed to stake down the tent, my error, and the next morning a light wind gust rolled the tent. This caused the rest of the pole hubs to break. I had emailed gigatent customer service about the first pole hub and they replied "sorry to hear we will mail you a new hub" pay for of course. The second day I replied to the first email and told them my story about the additional hubs. This all occurred March 22. Today April 3, I still have not received the replacement hubs. Bottom line beware of poor customer service, and poor materials used to make the main support structure of the tent, Pole Hubs.
