Used on my 1st backpack in 33 years(I am 54). Also used on Mt Charleston, Nevada for car camping. Main body of tent sets up easy, its a little tricky to get the fly real tight, I had to move a couple of pegs. Nevada there was a light snow.Good results. Backpack trip in NY there was a light rain all evening and night. Tent stayed dry except right around one edge, no biggie. More to do with terrain I set up on and no ground cloth. Plenty of room for adult and large dog and gear(no vestibule). In and out easy due to side doors so suitable for two people. Flap back fly door provides great view of sky.

I use this tent for summer / fall and can't wait to use it for bow season here in Michigan. The spitfire 2 person is so easy to set up and take down. Only needing 2 stakes to set up without the rain fly. You are also able to see all the way around you in this tent(sitting up or laying down) which really lets you enjoy the view day or night. My lab loves it too..

With pegs and ground cloth, 5# is divided fairly equally for 2.5# per person for 2 backpackers. 38Sq. ft is a lot of room for the weight in a double wall tent. Room for comfort for 2 plus room for gear in this tent. Great value. I used for bowhunting elk for just myself and gear and was super roomy and comfortable withstanding hailstorms, and for my wife and I on backpacking trips, enjoying the 2 doors, room, safe from bugs and snakes,and easy to carry divided for two.
